After much consideration, the Speedway has decided to push back the season opener to Friday May 17th. There has not been enough days for the track to dry out between each rainfall, to do any track prep. Plus, with the new dirt that was added, we are concerned on what the track maybe like that first night. We just don't want to see anyone's car, get destroyed this early in the season.
If there is a test-n-tune, it would be a last minute decision. With the forecast for the next 7 to 10 days, it highly doubtful, we will have one.
The work day for this Saturday is still scheduled at 10am. If we can get all this work done now, this will allow us, to spend whatever time, getting the track in shape for May 17th.
