Tonight we honor our 2024 Season Champions and the top 5 in each class. The banquet will be held at Key Largo on Lake Shetek. Social will begin at 5:30, with a two meat buffet at 7pm. !!!! Attention Parents and Guardians!!!! All children 1 day old to 17 years old, that will be in the pit area, must give a Minor Release form to the Murray County Speedway for the 2025 season. These forms need to be turned in the first night that your child is at the track. Payment of reserve parking spots is due on March 31st, invoices have been sent out out, either payment by credit card or by check. New map will come out on April 1st for spots that will be available.

Only a short time to the start of the race season at the Murray County Speedway. There are a number of items that we would appreciate you have completed before the first night of the season. A couple more items that all drivers will need to race at the Murray County Speedway this year. All cars are required to have a MyLaps transponder on the car for both heats and features to be scored. You can purchase the Mylaps TR2 transponder from MyLaps. The track also has a few of the old X2 transponders that it will sell to drivers only. The opening night of the 2025 season at the Murray County Speedway has been canceled because of the cold and windy weather that came in overnight. With high temps predicted to be in the upper 40's during the day on Friday, it was just not suitable to get the racetrack prepped for racing.

For racing on Friday night: IMCA classes must have a purchased IMCA before you come to the back gate check-in window, you will need to show the license, before you name goes into the computer. If you have not received your license, the email that IMCA sent you to confirm the license purchase, can be shown and that will get you name into the computer. MCRA Sportsmen does not need a license. The Opening night of the 2025 Season at the Murray County Speedway is GO for Friday May 23rd. The track crew did a tremendous job on Thursday night, getting the track in shape after the recent rain. Back gate opens at 5:15pm, grandstand opens at 6:00, pit meeting at 7:00, hot laps at 7:15, with racing to follow at 7:30pm
