Welcome to the 1st Thursday Night Report, sponsored by Bodies by T-Vo. The opening night of the 2025 season at the Murray County Speedway has been canceled because of the cold and windy weather that came in overnight. With high temps predicted to be in the upper 40's during the day on Friday, it was just not suitable to get the racetrack prepped for racing.

For racing on Friday night: IMCA classes must have a purchased IMCA before you come to the back gate check-in window, you will need to show the license, before you name goes into the computer. If you have not received your license, the email that IMCA sent you to confirm the license purchase, can be shown and that will get you name into the computer. MCRA Sportsmen does not need a license. The Opening night of the 2025 Season at the Murray County Speedway is GO for Friday May 23rd. The track crew did a tremendous job on Thursday night, getting the track in shape after the recent rain. Back gate opens at 5:15pm, grandstand opens at 6:00, pit meeting at 7:00, hot laps at 7:15, with racing to follow at 7:30pm

Join us this Friday, May 30th for Buffalo Ridge Concrete Night. We will have all 5 weekly classes plus the first appearance of the season for the Viessman Trucking Gen X Late models. We are excited to have them come race with us. They were added to fall special last year and they were averaging 85 mph around Slaytona. We look forward to seeing everyone at the track Friday night!

This Friday is Schuur Concrete night. Schuur Concrete provided the deck for the catwalk. We welcome the Mini Mod class for their first visit to the speedway. The Mini Mods will be joining our 5 weekly classes, Cartoyz IMCA Stock Car, Cars Unlimited IMCA Sport Modifieds, Wyffels Hybrids IMCA Hobby Stocks, Pulver Towing IMCA Sport Compacts and the SS Electric MCRA Sportsman. We look forward to another action packed night of racing!

This week is Marshall Radio night! And do we have an action packed night in-store for you! First we have the Sportsman, Sport Compact, Hobby and Sport Mod classes. They have been putting on one hell of a show this year. Second we have the second appearance of the Viessman Trucking Gen X Late models!
