A few notes for this Friday's Practice Night. Back gate will open at 6pm, with practice starting at 7pm and going to 10pm. Entry fee is $50, which covers the car, driver and their pit crew (no other charges). Everyone will have to sign in for insurance (minors included). All cars are welcomed including the 305 sprint cars, limited late models and cars from other sanctioning bodies are welcomed to practice. Will send out two to three cars from the same class to practice, in a six lap session. You can get back into practice line when ever you are ready to go out again.
Registration and membership forms will be available at the back gate when you check in. Minor release forms will also be needed for practice night and for the season. Go to this link to download the form: http://www.murraycountyspeedway.net/rules/ and click on minor consent to download and fill it out. Bring this form back to the pit crew window. You can also pay for your reserve parking spots at the driver's window.
Transponders can be on the cars for practice, to see your lap times. If you need help activating your transponder, bring the transponder and your MyLaps account email and password to the announcer's booth and Tim will help you with the process. Transponders are required for the modifieds, stock cars, sport mods and hobbies. The track will have transponders to rent ($25). All results in those classes will be based off the transponder results beginning with the first race night, if you don't have an operating and activated transponder on your car, you will be scored last.
Grandstands will be open for everyone to come watch, no grandstand admission. The main and pit concessions will be closed, so you can bring your own food and pop
