Born in Lennox SD Racing career started when I was seven when my parents sponsored their first car. With racing reeling thru their blood now D&R Motorsports was born and began owning cars for various drivers across the local scene.. John began racing in 2001 the year he graduated from high school. Beginning in front wheel drive class he began winning races and moving up the ranks and classes. At this time Roy, Pam, and rest of the team decided to field a car for John in the Wissota super stock class. Had a few successful years in that class and decided to move into Wissota Late Models. The class they have been in since.
Living in Sioux Falls John works for Zero Tolerance a company that his family owns. He is the manager of this particular company while helping operate each of the other companies operating under the same corporation.
